Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx

A night out at a gay club offers the girls both new friends and new conundrums to consider. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) makes the acquaintance of Oliver (Murray Bartlett), who leads her to wonder if by being half of a couple she's been compromising her sense of free-spirited fun. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) runs into Max (Daniel Sauli), a colleague from work, who asks her not to out him to their associates. Miranda promises she won't, as long as Max won't out her pregnancy in return. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) runs into Anthony (Mario Cantone), a friend whose companion for the evening works at a posh homes magazine and asks to photograph Charlotte and Trey's well-appointed abode. Samantha (Kim Cattrall), after getting high on Ecstasy at the club, has a steamy session with Richard (James Remar) and ends up declaring her love for him. Later in the week, Max and Miranda out each other at work, causing them both to realize they need to be more honest about their personal lives. Carrie takes to wearing her engagement ring on a chain around her neck, Charlotte and Trey have a tiff about the photo shoot, with Trey (Kyle MacLachlan) telling her he's moving back in with his mom, and Samantha tells Richard she didn't really mean what she said in her drug-addled state, only to be disappointed when he agrees that it didn't matter.
