Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx

While shopping at a comic book store, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) meets Wade (Cane Peterson), who quickly assumes status as her latest boy toy. Particularly impressed by Wade's fabulous apartment, Carrie is less than impressed when his mother (Anita Gillette) comes home. Although Carrie is happy enough to accept his mom's home-baked cookies, she questions whether she can really date a mama's boy, especially when Wade's mother reprimands them for smoking weed. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is having childhood regression issues of her own, thanks to her decision to get braces. When her date gets caught in her ungainly hardware, Miranda is forced to question the true cost of orthodontics. Meanwhile, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) has more adult issues to confront when she decides to get to the bottom of Trey's (Kyle MacLachlan) sexual hang-ups. Although he protests angrily, Trey finally agrees to accompany Charlotte to a marriage counselor, at whose behest they name their respective private parts Schooner and Rebecca. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) gets an eye-opening perspective on the teens of today when she does publicity for the bat mitzvah of an oversexed 13-year-old who in more ways than one reminds Samantha of herself.
