Synopsis
Three high achievers are introduced in Part 5 (of 13): Russian immigrant Boris; Liz, a Korean-American; and Unity, a rapper, who's voted "most talented" at Fairfax. Why is he called Unity? "Every time someone says his name it's something positive," says his father. Meanwhile, Jean and Maria receive decidedly different critiques of their work by art-school admissions officials. They are also asked: "How's the abstinence going?" Jean's response: "It's gone."
