Synopsis
Part 11 (of 13): Jean gives Maria a "promise ring" ("Now I know I want to be with her"). Derard says he's in love, too, with a girl he works with at the shoestore ("She's close to perfect or whatever"). Meanwhile, Karla talks about her mother and Elizabeth about her father; Jacqueline, who has been taking antidepressants, decides to take a week off from school; Jet decides to become a model; and Kendra decides to run for prom queen.
