Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The BBC1 game show Secret's Out was an outgrowth of Grange Hill, the long-running daily "edutainment" soap opera aimed at an audience of school children. Four of the more popular Grange Hill cast members appeared as regular panelists, with a different celebrity guesting on each program. It was up to the panelists to figure out the celebrity's favorite hobby, based on his/her answers to their questions and a series of "mimed" clues. Viewers at home could play along with panelists by averting their eyes when the hobby in question was flashed on the screen. Hosted by Mike Smith, Secret's Out debuted in 1987.
