Gulf War commander Norman Schwartzkopf narrates this film about China's reasons for building its Great Wall. Stretching across approximately 4,500 miles, the wall remains an ancient construction masterpiece. Schwartzkopf talks about the strategic advantages the Chinese felt they'd gain by building the wall and the incredible financial costs of the project. Segments also focus on the numerous lives lost while the wall was being built, and the many unexpected difficulties encountered by the workers.
