But Victor Brenda, still masquerading as Baron Karsten (Monte Blue), once again cons his way out of a tricky situation, forcing Shara Graustark (Jean Rogers) to drive him away. At Rose's (Lynn Gilbert), the criminal finally reveals himself to be none other than Blackstone (Henry Brandon). The jewelry case, however, proves utterly empty. Realizing that he has been double-crossed by Delaney (Robert Kortman), who is now in custody, Brenda sends his lawyer, Carp (Eddy Waller), to the justice department. Wise to the situation, Inspector Wheeler (Larry Blake) allows Delaney to go, then trails him straight to Brenda.
