Although impaled by the harpoon, X-9 (Scott Kolk) is not seriously hurt and is soon able to continue the investigation. At the art shop, Marino (Lon Chaney, Jr.) threatens Shara Graustark (Jean Rogers) to identify the disguised Victor Brenda as Baron Karsten (Monte Blue) for the benefit of the bumbling Pidge (David Oliver). Meanwhile, X-9 and Agent Dawson (Henry Hunter) go after Brenda's henchmen, who are trying to escape by speedboat with the real baron as their captive. Picking up speed, the pursuers are suddenly blocked by the hulk of a huge freighter.
