Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Eric Merola's documentary Second Opinion: Laetrile at Sloan-Kettering profiles Ralph Moss, a PhD and science writer who discovered that a respected researcher at the respected hospital Sloan-Kettering had been doing work on a discredited cancer cure that was actually showing very positive results. When Moss, who had been ordered to write about Sloan-Kettering's efforts to fight cancer, wanted to report on those unexpected breakthroughs, he was told to squash the information. Moss eventually formed a secret group to make this and other beneficial knowledge available to the public, while still managing to maintain his employment with Sloan-Kettering.
