Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This program is part of a PBS series that offers an interfaith look at spirituality and religion in America through interviews with some influential leaders in the field, from the Dalai Lama to Rabbi Harold Kushner. In conversations with host Hugh Hewitt, the participants share their thoughts and experiences that marked turning points in their faith. In this episode, Charles Colson talks about his religious conversion, when he was born again into Christianity. The former counsel to President Richard Nixon went to prison for his role in the Watergate scandal. There, he renewed his faith in God, and has gone on to serve as a witness for many others who are searching for meaning in their lives.
