Synopsis by Ed Atkinson
Steven Spielberg captured our imaginations and awoke in us a primal fear of the deep ocean when he made Jaws. Since then we have been relentless in our pursuit to understand the terror of the deep -- sharks. Search for the Great Sharks plays on this fascination and fear by scouring the oceans for the worlds largest sharks. Director al Wolfe has compiled 51 minutes of some of the most intense footage of sharks every filmed. Originally an IMAX feature, Search for the Greatest Sharks is filmed with the intent to make the viewer feel as if they were the diver pursuing the blue whale and great white sharks that are encountered. With detailed narration by Joseph Campanella, this film is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat as the giant teeth of these testy predators chomp down on their prey. The DVD version of this Slingshot Entertainment release is equipped with Internet links and many other menu options that will enhance the experience.
