Synopsis by Rovi

In this final first-run episode of SCTV's second season, the network's resident pedant Hugh Betcha (Joe Flaherty) offers more insights on Socrates (Dave Thomas), who apparently had a lot trouble focusing on his discourses about good and evil. Eternally on the job, anchorman Earl Camembert (Eugene Levy) eats his dinner while delivering his newscast. William F. Buckley (Flaherty) matches wits with rock star Meat Loaf (John Candy) on "Firing Squad." And "SCTV's Big Cultural Event," hosted by Boris Bloshetnik (Candy), is a full-length presentation of the famous ballet "The Flaming Turkey." This week's commercials include "The Two Goofs Grocery Store" and the "Polardark ESP 1 Camera." (Takes good pictures before they even happen!)
