Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

This is a prize-winning story of two amusing strangers, a man and a woman who cross paths while traveling in Italy. Lutz Konermann (the director) plays Herrmann, a filmmaker checking out location sites. He first meets a young woman (Edda Backman) who is a member of a touring street theater group after she has run away from her company. Smitten almost from the beginning, the filmmaker declares his feelings a little too soon and scares away the attractive thespian. She returns to her group, but the two are destined to meet again -- and this time Herrmann has to decide if he really wants to follow her to Sicily or go back to Germany and continue on with his project.
