Jack Satin is the best Vegas performer you've never heard of. Jack (Hamilton von Watts) has no money, no gig and delusional aspirations of fame. When forced to leave town, he packs up his old cruiser and hits the road for Atlantic City. Call it poetic justice, but his trusty classic breaks down in the desert and strands him in the tiny town of Lost Springs. Jack meets jazz-legend turned mechanic, Doc Bishop (Robert Guillaume), who helps him with his car trouble. Although far from the stage, Jack begins to find himself feeling at home in Lost Springs. When he meets bar owner Lauren Wells (Melissa Joan Hart), he begins to see there is more to life than marquee signs and packed rooms. Unfortunately, Jack's Vegas past catches up with him and what unfolds is comedy at the crossroads of fame and fortune.
