Synopsis by Hal Erickson
One of the toughest covert espionage organizations on the face of the earth is the British Special Air Service. Those who volunteer for this organization are fully aware that they will be subjected to training so rigorous and exhausting that it makes Marine basic training look like a weekend in Las Vegas. On this cable-TV reality series, 30 candidates for the SAS were selected at random and run through their hellish paces, with both their physical and mental stability mercilessly challenged with nary a moment to breathe. Hosted by Barry Davies, an 18-year SAS veteran, SAS: Are You Tough Enough? made its Outdoor Life Network bow September 29, 2003.
