Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx) tries to convince a nine-year-old runaway named Jason (Lincoln Kilpatrick Jr.) that there's no place like home -- and by that he means Jason's home, not his own. But the fatherless boy isn't inclined to leave the junkyard, inasmuch as he has latched onto the grouchy Fred as a surrogate daddy. This episode was written by Andy Griffith Show veterans Everett Greenbaum and Jim Fritzell.
