Synopsis by Nathan Southern
San Quinn emerged in the early '90s via his work on the Get Low record label, where he made key supporting contributions to J.T.'s Playaz N' the Game and Get Low Playaz' Straight out the Labb EPs. He launched his solo career in 2001, with The Mighty Quinn EP on the Champeli label, and issued six additional efforts over the following half-decade. Quinn headlines the home video release San Quinn: The Rock, a documentary which takes its title (and cover image) from the rapper's 2006 EP The Rock: Pressure Makes Diamonds. Via interviews and performance footage, this program recounts Quinn's rise to fame and the history of his career.
