A longtime friendship yields feelings of deep love in this romantic drama from director Dasarath. Although they have been friends since childhood, engineering student Geeta (Nikita) remains blind to the love of free-spirited chum Ravi (Nitin). When Ravi's sister-in-law inquires as to when the couple is planning to marry, blissfully unaware Geeta is taken aback due to her determination to find a suitor who is financially and academically superior. Devastated by Geeta's unattainable standards, Ravi takes a series of odd jobs in order to prove his responsibility as a provider, and ultimately acquires a visa that will allow him to work in Dubai. The subsequent death of Geeta's father leaves the lonely soul pondering her materialistic expectations, and she soon realizes that it takes more than a financially sound breadwinner to make a devoted family man. Determined to reach Ravi and express her love before his flight for Dubai, Geeta desperately attempts to reach the airport before all hope for romance is gone.
