Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Sally (Robin Woodard) is a strong woman who exerts a powerful influence over everyone she meets. John (Eric Sherman) is so smitten by Sally that he dumps his faithful girlfriend Kate (Hope Wilson). The story is told visually, with occasional voiceover narration. Sally's Hounds has the feel of a high-school film project, yet in 1968 it was highly praised by the wine-and-cheese crowd. Perhaps this was because the film is truly an "auteur" effort: director Robert Edelstein also produced, wrote, and photographed it, in addition to playing a supporting role.
