This tale of Civil War intrigue has no battle scenes -- a real rarity in the 1910s! Captain Radcliffe, a Union spy (Marc MacDermott) becomes acquainted with the Castleton sisters, Sally (Miriam Nesbitt) and Genie (Bessie Learn). Genie's sweetheart, Philip (Pat O'Malley), discovers his identity and reveals what he knows to the girls. Like any good Confederate maiden, Sally flirts with Radcliffe so she can do a little spying herself, but the two of them wind up actually falling in love. Instead of turning him in, she helps him to escape, but he encounters Philip and is forced to wound him. Philip, however, recovers and Sally forgives Radcliffe. After the war's end, Sally and Radcliffe marry and he and Philip become good friends.
