Synopsis by Mark Deming
In the fall of 2002, progressive rock veterans Rush toured Brazil for the first time, and closed out the road trip with a show for 40,000 enthusiastic fans in Rio de Janeiro. The group had the show videotaped for posterity, and Rush: Rush in Rio captures the power trio playing at the top of their game. Songs include "Tom Sawyer," "YYZ," "Roll the Bones," "Ghost Rider," "New World Man," and many more.
