Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title character in this Kalem four-reeler is the daughter of a once-prosperous banker. Accustomed to living in high style, the heroine suffers a cultural shock when her daddy goes broke. Her subsequent marriage to a poverty-stricken artist doesn't do much to improve her morale, and when the artist goes blind she deserts him to become the travelling companion of a wealthy woman. The heroine receives word that her husband and their young son have died in a fire, whereupon she marries an English nobleman. Twenty years later, however, she discovers that both her first husband and her son are still very much alive -- and the rest of the story practically writes itself.
