Made with an English soundtrack, this low-budget black-and-white Dutch film relates the efforts of three people to cope with unwanted love. Mystery writer Lukas has fallen in love with Rubia, who has fallen in love with Albert, who in turn is interested only his own wife. All the characters are unwaveringly fixated on the objects of their obsession, and violence results. At the end of the film, there is an explicit sexual love scene.
