Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In spite of some of its mythical kingdom pretensions, this picture has a lot of classic Tom Mix moments. It's loaded with stunts, both by Mix and his horse, Tony, and contains the type of energy and flash that made up signature Mix material. When oil is discovered on his little ranch, Phineas Dobbs (Mix) becomes wealthy overnight. While he's spreading his good fortune among the residents of Cow Valley, a train makes a stop and Dobbs becomes involved in royal intrigue. A Balkan princess (Juanita Hansen) is on board, and she's being closely guarded by two bad guys. Dobbs lassoes his way onto the train and rides to San Francisco, where he is met by his friend, Curley (Pat Chrisman), and his horse, Tony. They unearth the conspiracy that is brewing, and Dobbs rides his horse up the fire escape and into the hall where the plotters are assembled. He carries off the princess and then saves her father, the King (Spottiswood Aitken). In spite of his heroic efforts, Dobbs returns alone to Cow Valley. He's not lonely for long; one night the princess shows up on his doorstep, willing to make his ranch her kingdom.
