In an out-of-the-way Midwestern town, a grisly double murder unfolded at the local motel, the Johnson-Bedford Inn. Forty years after the gruesome killing, an unsettling series of ritual murders once again plunges the community into fear and chaos, capturing the attention of police investigator Star Bedford (Scout Taylor-Compton). As Star begins to look into the killings, she endures several visions of the past victims at the motel, casting both fear and doubt over her relationship to the case.
