This documentary, second in the four part Ring of Fire: An Indonesian Odyssey series, again follows the ten-year voyage of two filmmakers, brothers Lorne and Lawrence Blair, as they travel through the islands of Indonesia. Dance of Warriors finds the Blairs on the islands Sumba, New Guinea, Bali, and Komodo. In Sumba, see how the locals create their textiles, which are said by the natives to have mystical powers, and in New Guinea, learn about the semi-nomadic Asmat people and their culture. Find out about the giant lizards that are native to Komodo and study the lives of the local farmers and artists of Bali.
