Synopsis
CBS had 'Lassie'; ABC had this popular 1950s show about the celebrated German shepherd and his young owner, who are rescued by members of the U.S. Cavalry after an Indian raid and taken to a fort in Arizona. 'Rinty' was trained by Lee Duncan, a former soldier who found the pup's grandfather while serving in France during World War I and made him a silent-screen star.
