Synopsis by Ben Schultz
Filmmaker Rebecca Carpenter explores the effects of chronic traumatic encephalopathy on football players, including her own father, Green Bay Packers running back Lewis Carpenter. Interviews with figures like NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka and neuropathologists Bennet Omalu and Ann McKee provide insight into the disease, which in turn helps Carpenter better understand her fraught relationship with her dad.
