Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Marion Vernoux spins this breezy romantic comedy about love and society. Hortense is a married chiropractor juggling the responsibilities of home, work, and two or three lovers on the side. Unfortunately, her lover du jour can't be reached while her husband is away on a business trip. Her brother recently married, and while he is picking up the wedding photos to show to his family, he catches the eye of a beautiful lass named Marie working behind the camera store counter. Marie's father is a has-been television announcer struggling to put a brave face on the impending visit of his now fantastically successful former partner. And finally, Luis the bus driver learns that his wife is dumping him while en route. This film was screened at the 2001 Toronto Film Festival.
