Synopsis by Janiss Garza
The villain, appropriately named Mark Sinister (Anders Randolph), is an adventurer who lusts after a beautiful young Mexican woman (Mabel Julienne Scott) and winds up killing both her and her husband. Their little girl, Amorita, is orphaned and ten years later, she shows up as a waif of the New York streets (also played by Scott). Two crooks pick her up and try to sell her to Sinister -- the very same man who killed her parents. Amorita escapes from his house and meets Frank Truman (Niles Welch), whose father has also been one of Sinister's victims. The father dies, leaving Truman on his own, and Sinister has him thrown in jail. Amorita, meanwhile, has gone to live with an old lawyer, and his invalid sister civilizes her. Sinister notes the improvement and resolves to marry her. Truman, however, manages to foil Sinister's wicked schemes and he gets his just desserts.
