Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
This program lets children between the ages of three and eight pretend they're flying along with pilot Dave Hood as he straps himself into various planes. Hood also rides shotgun on a stunt plane while providing a simple yet clear explanation about how planes defy gravity and stay up in the sky. Additional information is shared about flying on passenger jets and what keeps the airline industry moving along so efficiently. Passengers are shown obtaining tickets while their baggage is routed to the proper planes. Lighthearted humor is mixed in, including a scene where Hood "accidentally" falls onto a suitcase conveyor belt.
