Synopsis by Alice Day

His remarkably sensitive Chinese brush paintings of animals have won Raymond Hu many awards. The young man has not let Down's syndrome get in the way of his artistic talent, and Raymond's Portrait provides insight into his accomplishments. His parents have given him support all through his life, and talk about encouraging him to do his best. Hu attended regular classes in high school, and it is obvious that this had its difficulties. His art teacher also appears on the program, and many examples of Hu's paintings are shown.
