The home-video release Ray Stevens Live!, from Stevens mainstay Curb Records, caters to fans of the goofy-eyed, multi-voiced comedy-country singer, with a series of live performances recorded in the early '90s at Stevens' now-defunct Branson, MO, music theater. The 12 performances here include "Shriner's Convention," "Can He Love You Half as Much as I?," "I Saw Elvis in a UFO," "Ahab the Arab," the country radio staple "Gitarzan," "Sex Symbols," "You Gotta Have a Hat," the 1984 hit "It's Me Again, Margaret," and Stevens' signature song "The Streak." Stevens explores his serious side with the hymn "Amazing Grace," his Grammy award-winning interpretation of Erroll Garner's "Misty," and his massive early-'70s chart-topper "Everything Is Beautiful."
