Synopsis by Forrest Spencer

There is a belief that if one dedicates his or her life to the Dharma, then at death the mind will follow the path of truth; by detaching oneself from what is being left behind makes, it becomes possible to meet others again in the Land of the Dakini. This 30-minute video is the story of Doliin Kandro Suren -- an elderly Buddhist, healer, Chod practitioner, and spiritual guide for thousands of people in Mongolia and Russia. She decided when she was a girl to devote her life to assisting others through an era of religious persecution, only to survive to help those in despair for many years. At the end of the Communist rule in her country, she helped rebuild the spiritual bond within her people through the Buddhist faith and teachings. She shortly died upon completion of this documentary.
