Synopsis by Phil Griffin
In 1893, just as she was on the cusp of a scientific breakthrough, Marie Sk?odowska (Rosamund Pike) met fellow scientist Pierre Curie (Sam Riley). After quickly falling in love, the two soon wedded and became close scientific collaborators. In 1903, they were presented with a Nobel Prize in Physics for their work on radiation. A tragedy followed in 1906, and by 1911, Marie found herself embroiled in a scandal and nearing yet another remarkable discovery. This biopic is directed by Marjane Satrapi.
