Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
In the quiet village of Srebrenica, Aida (Jasna Djuricic) begins her work as a translator on an assignment for the United Nations. Yet the political turmoil plaguing Bosnia and Herzegovina soon reaches a boiling point, threatening the lives of countless villagers across the region. As Serbian troops infiltrate the town, Aida and her family must rely on Aida's employment with the United Nations to seek shelter or face the fatal consequences of being caught in the crossfire of political conflict.
