Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Writer-director Nana Mensah stars in this drama as Sarah Obeng, a Ghanaian-American scientist about to make a sharp turn in her life by relocating from New York to Ohio where her colleague and boyfriend is based. She's also ready to leave her doctoral program at Columbia University when her mother suddenly dies. Her plans are interrupted when she's given the task of taking care of the funeral and overseeing her mother's estate, specifically the Christian bookstore her mother owns in the Bronx.
