Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
Scott P. Downing made his directorial debut with this neo-noir psychological thriller, set in a near-future LA where a serial killer stalks. Stand-up comic Fred Derf (Gregg Rubin), dropped by his girlfriend, wanders the neon night, visits dimly lit barrooms, and returns home for a restless sleep and strange nightmares. His dark dreams, violent visions, and several suicide attempts soon lead the viewer to suspect Fred is the killer. Shown at the 1998 Dances With Films Festival of the Unknowns (Santa Monica).
