Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A young woman's identity begins to unravel as she joins her emotionally-distant mother on a trip back to the place where she fell in love with the husband and father who died many years ago. Throughout the years, Sofia had grown accustomed to the fact that her mother Marga never opened up to her. But when the temperamental Marga becomes lost in the memories of her late husband Juris, Sofia dutifully takes care of the forgetful old woman. Meanwhile, as Marga speaks of events long transpired, the curious girl senses an opportunity to discover her roots. An impromptu tip back to the place where Marga was raised, however, only seems to confirm Sofia's growing suspicions that her mother's fleeting stories are not to be trusted.
