Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
After her family's dynasty is overthrown, Princess Chang Ping's engagement to a young prince is cancelled. As a result, she has an obligation, along with the rest of the court, to commit suicide. Happily for the prince, she does not succeed, and becomes a nun.
