There are many solutions to a well-designed inner space and several are shown in this installment, including Grand Central Terminal, the Galleria in Houston, the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, and the Marin County Civic Center. Each approaches the problem of a functional and attractive interior, and some incorporate the influence of ancient cultures while establishing a modern presence.
