"During the summer before she heads off to college, seventeen-year-old poet Ayanna (Zora Howard) crosses paths with the enigmatic Isaiah (Joshua Boone), a music producer, in a rapidly changing Harlem neighborhood. As a relationship between Ayanna and Isaiah blossoms, Ayanna finds herself contemplating an entirely different path as she explores her burgeoning desires and reconsiders what she truly wants in life.
