Synopsis by Nathan Southern

In Prehistoric Planet Vol. 2 - Dino Dynasty II, the long-awaited second entry in the BBC's acclaimed Prehistoric Planet series, take another mesmerizing tour of antiquity, when giant amphibians and reptiles roamed the earth. As in the BBC's earlier Walking with Dinosaurs, CG graphics are used here to bring long-extinct species back to life - but Prehistoric Planet is the first series of its kind devoted especially to children - geared to capturing their attentions and imaginations by plunging them into a lifelike, fully-dimensional prehistoric realm. In Vol. 2 - Dyno Dynasty II, celebrated actor and comedian Ben Stiller is on hand to provide funny, engaging narration, packed with factual information to subtly educate young audiences while they are marveling at the awe-inspiring world unfolding before their eyes. This episode places particularly strong emphasis on the catastrophic events that wiped out hundreds of Paleolithic species.
