Portrait of an Artist: Marcel Duchamp - A Game of Chess is an interview segment with French artist Marcel Duchamp, leader of the Dada movement and pioneer of ready-made art. Filmed in black-and-white, this interview was held at the Pasadena Art Museum in 1963. Duchamp discusses his theories on the game of chess, his expatriate status in America, and his decision to stop working after 1923.
