Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur
Jacques Nolot is the writer, director, and star of the French comedy drama Glowing Eyes. The film takes place in an adult movie theater in Paris during a screening of the porno film "La Chatte à Deux Têtes," which happens to be the French title of the film itself, literally translating to "The Two-Headed Pussy." In the lobby, a frank conversation develops between the jovial Italian ticket seller (Vittoria Scognamiglio), naïve projectionist (Sébastien Viala), and a fiftysomething regular customer (director Nolot). Meanwhile, various men from all walks of life engage in anonymous sex in the downstairs theater, some of them joining in on the intimate discussion by the ticket booth. Glowing Eyes was screened at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival as part of the Un Certain Regard program.
