Synopsis by Janiss Garza

The young, redheaded Polly (Ella Hall) spends her days keeping house for a pair of London lawyers (George Webb and Dick LaReno), and caring for her brother Edgar, otherwise known as "the Lump" (William Worthington, Jr.). The Duke and Lady Osterley (Charles Mailes and Gretchen Lederer, respectively) have separated, and their daughter Marion (also played by Miss Hall) has gone to live with her father. One of the lawyers gets the idea of having Polly take Marion's place while Marion visits her mother. Eventually this leads to the reuniting of the parents. This entertaining little comedy -- sort of a precursor to The Parent Trap -- was based on Edgar Jepson's "Pollyooly" stories.
