Synopsis by Kristie Hassen
At the turn of the 20th century, a Buenos Aires woman is tempted to cheat on her husband. Rather than commit adultery, she plots to kill the naive husband. Having failed, she attempts again and again with poison and do-it-yourself explosives. It would seem he is momentarily indestructible -- and it is she who is replaceable. This Argentine feature from director Luis Saslavsky was based on a play by Carlos Llopis.
