Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this Swedish film by Czech emigré director Jiri Tirl, Inga Tidblad plays an old woman who lives alone in a mansion. She contemplates suicide and busies herself by repairing and cleaning an antique pistol which she owns. The help she receives from an antique dealer cheers her up, and she gives the pistol to him instead of using it on herself.
