Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

A daredevil once again goes in search of a sunken treasure in this stunt-driven chapterplay from Universal. Richard Talmadge stars as Dick Moreland, an aviator using his winning purse from the first-ever solo flight around the world to finance a search for a treasure belonging to his ancestors. Unbeknownst to Dick, however, Stanley Brassett (Walter Miller), another member of the adventurer's club, will do anything to get his hands on the treasure and has the means to do so. Knocked unconscious by Brassett's lackeys and relieved of the map, our hero recovers in time to pursue the thieves in a high-speed chase. Along the way, he encounters lovely Dorothy Craig (Lucille Lund), whose convertible he appropriates when his own vehicle suffers a mishap. After making a heroic leap from one car to the other, Dick is battling for the map when the speeding automobile careens off the Santa Monica pier and into the ocean.
