Co-directors Dana Nachman and Don Hardy’s “dogumentary” follows a litter of five puppies as they embark on an intensive training process to become guide dogs for the blind. Over the cause of their first two years of life, each dog’s ability to protect a blind human is rigorously refined by professional guide dog mobility instructors. However, only a select few will make the final cut.
